If one is to find a Karin without clothes on one would see that there is a handful off fading scares on her body, though despite the scars her skin is very smooth. The most notable scars are those after a bullet that went through her just under her ribs on her left side, both front and back.

Life Before London: Grew up in a loving home with her mother and father. Her father was a powerful man, with unusually modern ideas for a Baron. Mother was weak and sickly but very caring. Karin was however a very lonely child who rarely had the chance to play with other children. But she was spoiled rotten, and allowed to do whatever she wanted as long it wasn’t too improper. She started playing the piano and the violin at a very early age. Father died in an accident when Karin was 14. It was a hard blow for her and her mother.
When Karin was 20 she “fled” to Lund and university trying to avoid suitors and bothersome family members. She started to socialize with a slightly revolutionary crowd, not openly of course. She also fell madly in love with Sigrid and they started planning to move to Fallen London, where Sigrid’s aunt had lived for awhile and still had connections.
On the evening they were going to leave Karin found one of the professors violating Sigrid. He came after Karin too and she killed him in self defense, while she fought him Sigrid threw herself out the window, taking her own life.
How did you Fall?: Karin fled the scene, and traveled to London as planned, but without her love.
A Brief History of Life in London: Since the fall was planned, most things were arranged for her arrival. In her grief Karin tried anything and everything to numb the pain, she even thought about (and tried to) ending her own life.
Fighting, sex, drinking, hunting, dying, being soulless. Nothing really helped, so she reclaimed her soul, stopped fighting as much and started hanging out at court. That bored her, so she stopped going there and started singing at Mahogany Hall. She still does. Performing on stage means a lot to her.
Religion: Karin doesn’t really believe anymore. But she still prays and goes to church every now and then.

Hobbies & Interests: MUSIC!!! And reading, attending salons and lectures, ring fighting, baking, partying, dancing etc.
